How image conversion works.
Add. Convert. Download.
1. Add your images
Drop still images into the converter or choose files from your device. You can add up to 50 images, 50 MB each, and 20 megapixels per image. ImageReady detects the format from file contents.
2. Choose output settings
Pick PNG, JPG, WebP, AVIF, or HEIC. Quality controls apply to lossy output; PNG uses lossless encoding, and WebP offers an optional lossless setting. Choose a background when exporting a format that cannot preserve transparency.
Advanced settings can cap the longest edge. Conversion uses WebAssembly codecs in a dedicated worker. Codec assets load on first use, so the first conversion needs a connection to this website. HEIC and AVIF encoding can take longer, especially for large photos.
3. Compare and download
Select a converted image to compare original and output previews. Download images individually or save the batch as a ZIP. Download before refreshing or closing the page: files and results last only for this browser session.
Original files remain untouched. Outputs remove metadata and use 8-bit color. Keep the original if you need HDR information, color profiles, animation, or EXIF/GPS metadata.
