What lossless output means

PNG encodes the prepared pixels without additional lossy compression. It does not restore source detail or preserve the full information of a high-bit-depth or HDR HEIC image.

ImageReady outputs 8-bit color, processes the primary HEIC image, and removes metadata and embedded color profiles. Live Photo video is not included.
