Convert iPhone photos to JPEG

HEIC photos from an iPhone may not open in every editor or upload form. JPG, also called JPEG, is widely compatible. Add your HEIC or HEIF still images above; JPG output is selected for this page.

Choose a quality level, optionally resize the longest edge, then convert and download. Lower JPG quality can reduce file size at the cost of detail. Your original HEIC files remain untouched.

What changes when HEIC becomes JPG?

JPG uses lossy compression and a solid background. ImageReady processes the primary image in a HEIC container; Live Photo video and extra images are not exported.

Output is 8-bit. HDR appearance and embedded color profiles are not preserved, and EXIF/GPS metadata is removed. Wide-gamut photos may look different after conversion.
